Mein Museum - Dein Museum
Mon musée, c'est ton musée
Mit museum - Dit museum

Will Franz in Bern be able to guess what this is or will he have to ask you for help?

(The first German telephone, invented by Philipp Reis in 1864. The treasure is at the postal museum in Berlin.)

If you have no more holiday this year, but still would like to visit museums, Post & Tele Museum offers you the possibility of visiting nine other European museums of communication.

The journey begins at Post & Tele Museum in Copenhagen. And from here a single click on the mouse may take you to the museums of communication in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Luzern, Nürnberg, Oslo, Riga, and Paris.

The ten museums participate in the European museum project "My museum - your museum", a computer platform where visitors to the participating museums have the opportunity of chatting and competing with each other. The game part is "multilingual" so everybody can participate in their own native language. The idea is to give our visitors ad different and entertaining museum experience which - via the internet - goes beyond the physical frames of the museum, frontiers, and nationalities.

Leave for Europe from the "My Museum - Your Museum" computer in the permanent exhibition on the 3rd floor.
